In this gallery are pictures from blob tracking with contour lines. I came up with the idea and my group member Emma helped with the coding.

My idea was to have the ability to track people and have something tracking them and have their image on another wall for a specific amount of time.

If you stayed in one spot for a short period of time and then moved, the blue lines would capture your image for a few seconds before disappearing entirely.

Here is Emma and Tashielle (sorry if I spelled your name wrong!) checking to see what is working and what is not.

The Musical Hallway!
This is a very ambitious project but for what I have in mind is you have a hallway with a bunch of doors and inside the rooms are very type of genre of music. I have been on a music kick lately and I want to see people's reactions when they step into a room of their favorite genre.

When the person steps into the room and has to find several buttons in order for the music to start. Some may be on the wall and some may be on the floor. Once the person presses the button, the music will play. The room is soundproof and will play whatever the genre of the room is.
I want the hallway to be unassuming and silent except for the muffled sounds of the music coming from the rooms. The doors will have vacant/non-vacant signs so people will know where to go.

There could be more music genres but these genres immediately came to mind.

Same for here, I want this to be a very interactive experience. I am terrible with music and I want to see how people interact with each room and see their reactions when they find their favorite genre of music.

Here is an example room, Heavy Metal. There will be posters all over the walls and each poster will have a button. To make things interesting, the buttons on the floor will be a surprise musician/band.

The buttons will be spread throughout the floor and will be playing music as well. The person will know the music on the walls thanks to the posters but the buttons on the ground will be a surprise.

Assignment 4 Project!
My group member, Rachel, had an idea for creating step buttons using a sock, cardboard, tin foil and tape. When the tin foil touched, the LED lit up but unfortunately not through the sock.

Here she is testing the button out. We were excited that it was working but not in the way we wanted it to be.

We decided on a thinner material and it worked! If we pressed really hard the LED lit up.

We decided to test it on the floor and it worked remarkably well! We are going to be testing this on more material but seeing it light up was great especially because it wasn't working before.

Final Project-"The Garden!"
This is where he started. On the corner of the wall because we wanted it be "growing out of the wall" in a way and the completed installation shows that very well.

Here is Rachel, my group member, decorating our installation. We used sticks, moss, leaves, and flowers to give the impression of a garden.
